PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF APPLICATION
UONI-13/55 Plasma electrodes are designed for welding in all spatial positions, except top-down,
critical structures and pipelines made of carbon and low-alloy steels with a tensile strength from 500 MPa to
640 MPa, especially if necessary, will provide high resistance of welded joints against hot cracks. They are widely used in bridge construction, shipbuilding, ship repair and production of pressure vessels.

APPLICATION CONDITIONS
The surfacing coefficient is 10.5–11.5 g/A·h. The consumption of electrodes per 1 kg of deposited metal is 1.58 kg. Rated performance up to 115%. Electrodes with a diameter from 2.0 mm to 4.0 mm are designed for welding in all spatial positions except vertical "top-down", and with a diameter of 5.0 mm – for lower, horizontal on a vertical area and vertical method "bottom-up".

SPECIAL PROPERTIES
UONI-13/55 Plasma electrodes are characterized by high strength of the weld metal, with special metallurgical purity and low hydrogen content in the deposited metal. The possibility of welding on alternating current eliminates the effect of magnetic blast. Fine-drop metal transfer during welding of UONI-13/55 Plasma provides better stability of arc gorenje and formation of seam metal. Due to the addition of iron powder to the electrode coating, the efficiency of using UONI-13/55 Plasma increased by 20%, while:
• Metal losses for burnout and splashing are compensated;
• Reduced electrode consumption by 10-15%;
• Increased surfacing performance by 8-10%.
• The slag does not flow into the welding bath, a smooth seam is formed, and the resulting slag crust is easy to remove.

CALCINATION BEFORE WELDING
Under normal storage conditions, they do not require calcination before welding. In case of humidification, calcination: 400 ± 20 ° C 60 min.
The moisture content in the electrode coating is not more than 0.3%.
